Activity details
Description of the initiative
Project involved the transfer of Canadian expertise in biosafety regulations, risk assessment, and public awareness and education in order to improve local regulatory capacities at SAGPYA and SAG-MINAGRI. Activities include: Canadian expert missions to Argentina and Chile; internships of Argentinians and Chileans in Canada; development and dissemination of public education materials in Argentina and Chile; and courses and seminars in Argentina and Chile.
